    Science: Electricity and Magnetism

   ≤ Math: Order and Compare

**Take a few minutes to refresh your speed on multiplication facts. You should know your facts within 5 seconds. Start with just the 2x's, move onto the 3x's, continue until you get to the 5x's and then review all. Move onto just the 6x's, then 7x's, continue, and then review all. Isolate your 'stumpers' and master them!

For help with your homework, call Big Y's helpline: 1-800-866-2449

or go to: www.webmath.com

Reading: You should be reading about 20-30 minutes most days. This will give your vocabulary and your reading fluency rate a huge boost!

The key to your child's success is our ability to communicate and work as a team. They are responsible for completing homework. You may assist  by helping them fix mistakes (no need to erase, just add it in above or below), and by initialing the homework pad each night to let me know that you've seen all notes and assignments.

Please email me with any questions by clicking here!

You may also write a note in your child's homework pad or leave a message with the secretaries at Polk. 945-4840.

Become responsible and independence in your final year at Polk School!
