Welcome to the Art page! My name is Jody Field and I am your child's art teacher this year. This is my 7th year teaching in Watertown. I am also the art teacher at Judson Elementary and have taught at John Trumbull as well. I am looking forward to fun year!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3rd Grade Third grade students are learning about the lifa and times of pop art icon Keith Haring! They are incorporating his colorful characters into a "Not so Still Life" drawing, as well as creating community themed posters during interdisciplinary art!
4th Grade Fourth Graders are "Playing with Profiles". They are learning how to draw the human head when turned to thte side, then incorporating this skill into an oversized playing card with stylized details!
5th Grade Fifth Graders are exploring expressionisma nd the art of Edvard Munch. They are creating their own expressionist art complete with moody skies and lines that express emotion.
