Mrs. Ann Terzigni is our school nurse.  Her office hours are 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. daily.  The school nurse is responsible for monitoring the health and physical condition of our students.  The school nurse provides first aid, administers daily, and as needed medications and maintains your child's health records.

All medication must be delivered to the school by a parent/guardian and must have a doctor's order.  All over the counter medications must also be accompanied by a doctor's order.  Children may not carry medication of any kind to school.  If a parent/guardian needs to call their child out ill or tardy, send a note with your child upon his/her return to school.

Hard candy and cough drops are not permitted in the elementary schools.  Please check with your child's teacher regarding use of water bottles in his/her classroom.

Most teachers provide a daily opportunity for students to have a snack.  Please provide your child with a healthy snack such as fresh fruit, vegetables, juice, pretzels, popcorn, etc. and avoid snacks high is sugar and fat content.

If you have any specific questions regarding the health office, please feel free to contact the school at 860-945-4845.
